standing successful business with a presence in Christian County since

The Christian County Economic
Development Corporation is a private, nonprofit corporation whose focus
is to assist local expansion and to promote Christian County and it's
cities for industrial development. Christian County EDC's recruitment
effort is targeted toward industries that may be looking to expand or
relocate.
With a 50 mile population base
of over 600,000 people, the two major communities in the county,
Taylorville, the county seat, and Pana, provide businesses the
opportunity to locate, relocate or expand a new or existing business.
Pana offers a developed business park (88 acres available) and the new
Taylorville Business and Industral Park (84 acres) is currently under
development. Both communities and Christian County offer a workforce,
with a proven work ethic, ready to serve you and your company's needs.

strategic planning process in 2003 indicating Christian County is an
ideal location on he map which offers the opportunity for great access
to all areas of the Midwest of the United States. Manufactures and
processors can get their products to major marketplaces like St. Louis,
Chicago, Indianapolis and Louisville quickly.
